  TOUCH VELVET SKIN SPA POLICIES

  • The treatment room is created to provide a serene, comfortable, and enjoyable space for both patron and Service Provider. Please silence your phone during Facial services (not necessary during Sugaring hair removal). If you absolutely need to interrupt services to take a call, this is acceptable. However, this will affect the time allotted to you, and you will still be responsible for full payment of services provided.

 

  • In preparation for all services, please ensure you do not perform any waxing, tweezing or shaving of the skin at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment. This includes upper lip and eye brows.

 

  • Hydration is essential for best results in all services. Please drink at least 6-8 cups of water daily.

 

  • As a courtesy I send a reminder text the day before. However, this is done manually, and I COULD forget to do so. It is your responsibility to show for the scheduled date and time. Failure to cancel/reschedule in 24 hours incur a $50.00 fee regardless if you receive a reminder or not. Therefore it is highly recommended you set your own personal 24 hours reminder on your phone just in case you do not receive one from me. Should there be a discrepancy in my reminder text (wrong date and/or time, this need to be resolved the day prior to avoid inconvenience to yourself. Feel free to contact me to confirm your appointment if you don't receive a reminder. A No Show is total cost of scheduled service.

 

  • Services are provided on a one-on-one basis. Companions are not allowed in the office during treatment. However, there is adequate seating in the enclosed courtyard.

 

  • Children are not allowed in the Spa unless they are receiving a service. The Spa is not child-proof. A child receiving services will be supervised at all times by the parent/guardian. Children 17 years and under need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

 

  • Prepaid service, Treatment Series:, or Gift Certificates: If there's a late cancelation, $50.00 will be deducted from the balance. For a No Show, 95% of the total will be deducted from the balance.

 

  • Prepaid treatment series are non-refundable, non-transferable. If you wish to discontinue a treatment series, the unused balance may be applied towards other services.

 

  • Gift certificates are good for the full value from the time of issue. However, if it has been a year since the purchase and there has been an increase in the value of the service since the purchase, the client will be responsible for the difference.Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash.

 

  • Returns: There are no refunds or returns of products once purchased. With the purchase of products you accept the risk that may entail in terms of possible but very rare allergy reaction.

  LATE CANCELATION/NO SHOWS

  • A minimum of 24 hours advance notice is required when canceling/rescheduling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to fill that appointment. Cost of service, or a $50.00 fee (whichever is less) is incurred and must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.  Services will not be re-booked until payment is made, and all pre-booked appointments are automatically cancelled without notification. A No Show will be charged 95% of service value.

 

  • Please understand that Touch Velvet Skin, LLC is a very small business, and revenue is lost when a previously reserved appointment is canceled without adequate notice.

  

  LATE ARRIVALS

Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time for consultation, fill out necessary paperwork,and/or be prepped for treatment. Arriving after your scheduled time could reduce the amount of quality time reserved for you and/or incomplete service. You will still be responsible for the full cost of the service. Very late arrivals may not be seen and may be subject to late cancellation fee.
